| Villanova and Connecticut advance after scares
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Top seeds Villanova and Connecticut
emerged victorious from overtime battles to reach the final
eight of the NCAA Tournament on Friday. Villanova squeezed past
Boston College 60-59 and Connecticut overcame Washington 98-92
in a pair of round of 16 thrillers in North America's annual
college basketball showpiece event.
